Commenting is an art. And it’s the art that brings life to the otherwise static world of Blogging. Without comments, a blog is just a static object that hardly serves its purpose, but with comments, it becomes a wonderful world where useful information are shared, meaningful conversations are initiated and wonderful connections are made. I believe it is a wonderful idea that we have Comments as the theme for the second week of the challenge.
I visited a few blogs and sometimes, I must admit, I felt uninclined to make a comment at some of the posts, because of reasons like, the post was made in a reckless and hurried manner or the topic was too uninteresting for me and sometimes I left the post even before I finished reading. But, there were posts too which made a good reading for me and I was obliged to make a comment, some of which are listed below. There was one thing common on all these posts: they were unique in their own ways.
1. Cheri’s ‘About me’ : She was an Asian and neatly wrote about all her hobbies and interests. But the unique thing about her post was that she used a special beat as she wrote the post, which reflects her interest in music.
Hi
I was reading this blog and it kinda made me feel like I was listening to some rap. What kind of music do you like? I’m also an Asian and I like noodles too. Speaking of which, that pic looks really yummy. I can almost feel the taste in my mouth.
And, your blog is really unique. You bring a unique beat to the post that you’re writing and I think writing this way really reflects your personality.
I would like to read more of your posts.
Yours,
Rajyashori
2. Lily’s ‘About Lily’ : She was a Californian and I found that her personality really clicked with mine. I had never anticipated that there would be someone else here who passionately likes Chinese history and culture and would like to visit China.
Hi Lily
It was really interesting to learn about you. I’m an Asian and I really want to come to California. I’ve never surfed but I’d like to do it on the Californian waves and also, walk around the beach. I’d absolutely love to come there. I hope you’d write some post which will tell a lot of nice things about California.
I like Chinese history as well and my favorite thing to do during my holidays is probably watch all those Chinese historical dramas. Do you watch Chinese dramas too? There are many nice ones and I’m sure you’d love ‘Oh My Emperor’, in case you’re watching it.
I’d like to read more of your blog posts.
Happy writing! 😀

3. Acacia’s ‘Are boys and girls equal?’ : She wrote very passionately on this topic and I found her point about girl’s basketball team really hilarious.
Hi Acacia
I’m an Indian and this matter is a chief concern in my country. In a developing country like India, most women are discriminated against their male counterparts. For example, it would be unthinkable to have a female army general in the military.
I like this post and I feel that more voices advocating about the equality of men and women should come up.
Keep writing.
Yours,
Rajyashori
4. Courtney’s ‘About me’ : She wrote very neatly about herself and I liked the eloquence with which she wrote the post.
Hi Courtney
I enjoyed reading this post and learning about you. I think you have a really wonderful brother. It must be fun to spend time with him. I don’t have an elder brother and I’ve always envied people with one 😉. What kind of things do you do together?
And yes, I love reading about History too. I wrote a post with a collection of quotes from World War II in my blog. You might check it out in my blog https://rajyashoril.edublogs.org/2018/04/11/voices-from-the-world-war-ii-week-6/
Keep writing.

Hi Raj,
Commenting is an art. You are right about, a blog without any comments is just a static object, that serves its own purpose. With comments, it becomes a wonderful world where information is shared. You are a great blogger. The most descriptive and detailed. You should go check out my blog at https://edand10.blogspot.com/.

Thanks for your comment. It seems you are also of the opinion that comments are the way to make the world of Blogging more lively. What do you feel that we must write most importantly in a comment?

Hi Raj,
I barely know you but I can tell that you are a very reflective person.
I enjoy the fact that your content is always creative and well thought out. How long have you been blogging for?
I wrote a blog post on the subject of commenting too, although yours really puts mine to shame. You can check it out at http://www.blog44.ca/allyt/2019/10/17/comment-commandments/
Keep writing, Ally.
Hi Ally
I’m really sorry not replying earlier. I haven’t been active on blogging lately. I’m planning to start a new one so… Thanks for your appreciative comment though.
